Helping students experience academic success has often translated into helping them improve their lives. The reward this has brought has kept me in classroom teaching.
In 1996 I became a parent and realized I needed to give all that energy to my daughter. I went on to try work outside of teaching but there was always something missing.
I will always make myself available, on some level, to students who are striving to learn and succeed.
I currently hope to explore my love of writing poetry and creative non-fiction as a student, and look forward to how this experience will improve the services provided.
